	Olivia the Bear Olivia the Bear always looks lovely. Beanie Kids are continally commenting on how pretty sho looks. Olivia has an eye for colour and detail. She is a very skilled seamstress. In fact she makes all her own outfits. The other day Coco the fashion Designer Bear asked Olivia to join her team at BKNY. Olivia was very flattered but had to refuse the offer stating that she only designs clothes for the love of it and not for the money. When Olivia creates an outfit, it’s a “One-off”. Olivia says, ”The best thing about designing your own clothes is that you’ll never bump into someone else wearing the same outfit.” Olivia also loves to make pretty dresses for her close friends and every month they all have a picnic and wear their special dresses to thank her. Each year just before Valentine’s Day Lovebug gets a huge pile of mail from Beanie Kids who ask her to visit someone they have a crush on. It is such a busy week for her that after Valentine’s Day she flies back to her home in Love Land and isn’t seen for months! 	Sophie the Beach Buddy Girl Sophie loves the beach more than anything else. She spends most of the summer in her bathing costume and wears her floaties and inflatable ring everywhere, just in case there’s a chance for a quick paddle. Sophie loves collecting shells and other interesting items that get washed up on the sand. Her footprints are usually the first to appear every morning so that she can find the best shells before anyone. Sophie loves playing with her brother Lachlan although he does tease her now and then. Even though Lachlan’s sand castles are always bigger, Sophie’s are always prettier, decorated in beautiful shells and seaweed. 	Dale the Whale Bear Dale is a bit of a legend on Beanie Island. He spends the summer months in Bay O’ Beanie frolicking around and putting on a show for all the Beanie Kids who love a bit of whale watching. Dale has recently been awarded a medal from the Beanie Master for saving Seamus O’Beanie when his boat caught fire on a fishing trip. Dale saw it happen and put the fire out with one big blast of water from his blowhole. Then he told Seamus to climb onto his back and they swam to shore. Dale spends the winter months in a mysterious body of water just north of Beanie Island called the Bearmuda Triangle. Rumour has it that pirates frequent the area searching for treasure. 	Stitchy the Bear CK Stitchy has just arrived on Beanie Island and has already become best friends with Patchy the Bear. They have a lot in common because they have been through the same sort of thing. Stitchy has had a very well worn life before arriving on Beanie Island. She’s been hugged and squeezed and squeezed and hugged. Been through the washing machine a few times and became a dog toy for a few months causing her to be repaired again and again. Some Beanie Kids may call her scruffy but Stitchy likes to call herself “Well Loved”! She loves being on Beanie Island. She feels much safer.
